FIRST AID

First Aid training courses offer individuals and organisations the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to emergency situations.

Emergency first aid at work:

1 Day Course

Designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid.

This course is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.

This course covers first aid protocols for adult casualties only.

Level 3 First aid at work:

3 Days

A Level 3 First Aid at Work course is a comprehensive training program that equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to administer first aid in various workplace settings, including those with higher risk of injury. This course goes beyond the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course, providing a more advanced level of training.

Automated external defibrillators:

1 Day

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course teaches individuals how to use AED effectively, often in conjunction with CPR, to improve the chances of survival during cardiac arrest, when to use an AED, and how to administer the shock safely.

Paediatric First Aid:

2 Day Course

Learning required skills and knowledge for dealing with medical emergencies in babies and young children. It's different from adult first aid because children have smaller, more delicate bodies.

Particularly suited to those working with young children or towards an early years educator qualification.

Pet First Aid:

1 Day

A Pet First Aid course teaches pet owner and professionals how to handle emergency situations involving animals, providing immediate assistance before the professional veterinary care is available. This course covers various topics, including: recognising common injuries and illness, administering basic first aid procedures and preventing accidents.
